Working with Indigenous Collections at the Canadian Museum of History
Since the 1992 Task Force Report on Museums and First Peoples findings were released, the Canadian Museum of History has taken several steps to address key issues concerning working relationships with Indigenous peoples and communities. Ways to address training, repatriation, access to and care of materials, engagement and content pertaining to exhibitions have been developed with an eye on best practices.
